A popular League of Legends leaker has apparently revealed which champions will be a part of the next Visual and Gameplay Update vote. There is a total of five champions all of which deserve a new look.
League of Legends champions are surely the most popular part of the game's design and with 148 playable characters, it's hard to imagine that there is a clear balance in power between all of them. Each new champion nowadays seems to have a very special kit that can be utilized in various ways making the champion more fun to play.
Also, the new additions are usually stronger compared to some other "outdated" character in the roster and for that reason, Riot often decides to rework an old champion so that he remains reliable in the modern state of the game. Dr. Mundo will be the first champion to receive a visual and gameplay update (VGU) in 2021.
According to a popular leaker, ThePotatoWard, we will have the option to choose from five other champions for the following VGU: Shyvana, Skarner, Nocturne, Quinn, and Udyr. Even though all of these champions can't find their place in the meta due to their specific kits, it's safe to say that Udyr's design feels far more outdated compared to others. There is no other champion in the game that doesn't have a skill shot or a dash.
Shyvana has seen some love recently as she ended her almost five-year run without a skin. Her new Ruined skin has the potential to become one of if not the best one she has at the moment. The fact that her dragon form looks almost exactly like the game's Elder Dragon will surely result in more players picking her up.
Quinn, Nocturne and Skarner are certainly champions that have had their moments in the meta but they usually don't last as long once they get outclassed by some other stronger champions that have a similar kit.
