Following a disappoint Spring Split, it appears that Vitality's League of Legends team is preparing for significant changes, such as benching the jungle they built the team around.

Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek, one of the most well-known EU junglers was the centre of building a superteam in Vitality but it appears that his fortune has shifted. When the team acquired Alphari and Perkz at the start of the season, many were convinced they would roll over LEC, with Carzzy and Labrov being a stable bot lane.

This was not the case and the team only managed a mediocre score during the regular season and narrowly beat XL in playoffs before getting swept by G2. With so many high profile players on the team, something had to give.

According to Upcomer's sources , the something ended up being Selfmade himself. It would appear that the entire roster voted to bench him after disagreements on how mid and late game should be played.

His targeted replacement is Bo but until he gets accommodated in EU, learns English and starts clicking with the team, the spot will be occupied by Haru, the former SSG substitute jungler.

Selfmade's contract with Vitality is until 2024 which puts him in a bit of a bind as the buyout for him would likely be higher than the current LEC teams would be willing to pay.

In any case, the next competitive League of Legends split in Europe will be quite interesting to watch. If Vitality roster manages to live up to its potential, we could be looking at even more teams in the race to the top spots that lead to Worlds 2022.
