Riot Games is aiming to once again put a live audience in front of one of their biggest esports events of the year as League of Legends MSI 2022 details leak.
MSI 2022 details were apparently not meant to be revealed just yet but the cat is now out of the bag. Following several reports of what has leaked, it's safe to say Riot Games have all but set in stone their plans for the next international League of Legends tournament.
The event is going to be held in Busan, meaning South Korea will get to host MSI for the first time since its inception and given the size of the fandom in the country, the competition couldn't be held at a better place.
MSI 2022 venue will be Busan Exhibition and Convention Center as the event will take place from May 10 to May 29, 2022, which leaves us roughly one and a half months before it begins.
Keep in mind that we will still have plenty of esports to watch until MSI as the Spring playoffs haven't even started in some regions. LCK is leading the charge with only the finals left to be played out between T1 and Gen G on April 2, the same date when LCS playoffs will begin.
Meanwhile, LEC is in the semifinals stage but it still has a bunch of matches in the lower bracket and the finals are expected to happen on April 10.
LPL playoffs are also well underway but there are still eight BO5s left to be played out and the conclusion date is not certain yet.
