Baldur's Gate 3 is set for full gameplay reveal today, but until then, we gave a couple of leaked screenshots, which reveal turn-based combat, cinematic conversations, gorgeous graphics and more.
The world premiere of Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay is going live later today at PAX East 2020 but until then we have a fresh batch of leaked screenshots to look at. The screenshots first appeared on jeuxactu.com before they surfaced on ResetEra.
There is a total of twelve screenshots, showcasing the games combat, cinematic conversations, some yet unseen locations, characters and much more. The first thing you will notice in the screenshots is the isometric view, bringing the end to rumours about the third-person view.
On top of this, the game will feature turn-based combat system but it is possible that real-time combat is also present, judging from a "turn-based" title at the very top of the screenshot. Players will probably be able to choose which combat style they prefer.
The graphics also look gorgeous with a dark and grim design which many fans will certainly appreciate. Several locations have also been revealed including two dungeons. You can check out all screenshots in the gallery bellow.
We will probably get a much closer look at all these locations, characters and combat in the gameplay premiere, which goes live today, February 27 at 9:00 PM. You can watch the premiere on Google Stadia YouTube channel.
Baldur's Gate 3 is in development for PC and Google Stadia. The release date and consoles version are yet to be announced by Larian Studios.
