The reworked Skarner's visual design in League of Legends has been revealed to the fans, showcasing some subtle changes. While maintaining his Scorpion-like shape, the updated model features three tails and a more modern appearance compared to the original version.
Riot released a teaser image for the Skarner rework, featuring him amidst ancient rocks, possibly guarding a treasure. League of Legends players can anticipate the debut of the reworked Skarner in patch 14.7, scheduled for release on April 3, 2024.
All Skins and Lores for the Reworked Skarner
Here are all the skins and the lores associated with the skins for the reworked Skarner:
Battlecast Alpha Skarner 1820 RP
Revered as the Alpha, the original Battlecast strikes fear into the hearts of all others of its kind. Tormented by enigmatic voices echoing in its mind, it burns with an unrelenting fury.
However, the splash art for this legendary Skarner skin is yet to be revealed.
Cosmic Sting Skarner 1350 RP
Skarner is an ancient entity imbued with profound primal wisdom, predating the formation of the earliest galaxies. Comprising the fundamental elements shaping the cosmos, his kind represents a radiant contrast to the ancient, lurking entities dwelling in the depths of space and beyond.
Earthrune Skarner 520 RP
Earthrune Skarner was once the guardian of a mighty ancient civilization that fell into ruin. Now, he harbours a deep hope that one day he and his allies can restore what was lost. Until then, he has sworn to remain ever watchful, defending the remnants of his once-great civilization from anyone who would dare disturb its magical ruins.
Guardian of the Sands Skarner 975 RP
"Skarner, the forsaken sovereign—ancient guardian of the sands—we invoke thee to protect us from an evil of our own making. Let no man tread upon these hallowed grounds, lest in your rage they are torn asunder."
The first sentence has been slightly modified, as Skarner is now addressed as a "sovereign" rather than a "scorpion."
Sandscourge Skarner 975 RP
Wanderers should be wary of the whispers carried by the prairie winds. Before sensing his infernal presence, lost souls often hear the Demon of the Old Deserts, believed to be the saviour of the wayward. His resonant voice offers promises of safety and protection, yet those who heed his call risk becoming part of his mummified legions.
These updates to Skarner look too exciting, and we can't wait to try the new Skarner out. Luckily for PBE (public beta environment) users, they can try Skarner out earlier during patch 14.6 before it hits live servers.
