One of the League of Legends game designers has revealed the balance targets for the upcoming update 11.19. The patch will include changes to multiple champions.
League of Legends lead gameplay designer Jeevun Sidhu account has revealed the balance targets for the upcoming patch 11.19. Champions that are getting buffed include:
- Aatrox
- Akali
- Fizz
- Cho'gath
- Fizz
- Galio
- Gragas
- Gwen
- Modrekaiser
- Poppy
- Qiyana
- Renekton
- Sejuani
- Seraphine
- Sion
- Sylas
It seems like Qiyana will be receiving a set of buffs two patches in a row now. Reducing her attack speed bonus from her W a couple of months ago has made her jungle clear significantly worse and reverting this change could push her back into the jungle.
Sylas has been a go-to pick for a couple of professional mid lane players such as Fnatic's Nisqy. He's been quite dominant with this pick and this buff could push him into the meta in Solo Queue as well.
When it comes to Aatrox, Jeevun Sidhu has already confirmed that the upcoming buffs will target the cooldown on his Infernal Chains (W). This means that he will have the ability to lock down enemies more often during a prolonged teamfight.
The following champions will receive a nerf:
- Kennen
- Ryze
- Soraka
- Sona
- Varus
Ryze has been one of the strongest champions in the mid lane for a couple of weeks now. His ability to clear waves, impact teamfights and play the map can hardly be matched by any other champions in this position. He's also a very reliable split-push champion once he gets his first three or four items.
