One of the League of Legends game designers has revealed the balance targets for the upcoming update 11.18. The patch will include changes to multiple champions.
League of Legends lead gameplay designer Jeevun Sidhu account has revealed the balance targets for the upcoming patch 11.18. Champions that are getting buffed include:
- Dr. Mundo
- Draven
- Gangplank
- Fizz
- Jinx
- Kai'Sa
- Karma
- Kog'Maw
- Miss Fortune
- Morgana
- Lillia
- Qiyana
- Rumble
- Taloyah
- Talon
- Soraka
- Singed
- Twitch
- Urgot
- Yone
- Yuumi
- Zed
- Zoe
Gangplank has been one of the strongest champions on the current patch and GP one-shoting squishy champions have been taking over most of the last week's League of Legends montages. It certainly is a surprise that Riot decide to further buff this champion and we can expect him take over the top lane meta.
Talon, Zed and Qiyana are three AD assassins that will receive buffs for the jungle position. Reducing Qiyana's attack speed bonus from her W a couple of months ago has made her jungle clear significantly worse and reverting this change could push her back into the jungle.
The following champions will receive a nerf:
- Aphelios
- Ashe
- Kalista
- Lee Sin
- Jayce
- Renekton
- Trundle
- Varus
- Thresh
Trundle support has been one of the most picked support in the previous LEC playoffs. His Pillar of Ice (E) has the potential to completely lock up targets if placed correctly. It seems like Riot doesn't really like him in this position and we will going to see a Trundle nerf targeting his support power.
Aphelios and Ashe have also been two of the strongest champions for the ADC role in professional League of Legends during the weekend. Ashe has the ability to engage in fights with her ultimate while Aphelios seems to be probably the strongest team-fighting AD carry at the moment.
