One of the League of Legends game designers has revealed the balance targets for the upcoming update 11.16. The patch will include changes to multiple jungle champions.
The official League of Legends game development Twitter account has revealed the balance targets for the upcoming patch 11.16. Champions that are getting buffed include:
- Jarvan IV
- Jhin
- Maokai
- Nunu
- Shaco
- Sivir
- Vladimir
It seems like there's a new jungle meta on the horizon considering that the patch will bring changes to seven junglers who have the potential to be the go-to pick in any meta.
Jarvan has been absent from the meta for a couple of months now and it doesn't come as a surprise that Riot decided to give him some buffs. He's always been a reliable pick in a meta where there aren't many strong carry junglers.
Jhin currently holds a very healthy 50.8 per cent win rate and this buff could potentially make him the strongest champion in his position.
The following champions will receive a nerf:
- Diana
- Fiora
- Lee Sin
- Lulu
- Tahm Kench
- Xin Zhao
- Ziggs
Ziggs has seen a rise in popularity, especially in the bot lane position. His ability to push in minion waves and take down turrets can't be matched by any other champion in the game, not even Tristana.
Since his small rework, Xin Zhao has become one of the most consistent junglers in the game and Riot evidently decided that he's a bit too strong at the moment.
Even though he got nerfed in the previous patch, Lee Sin still managed to hold an above 50 per cent win rate for the jungle position, despite his high pick rate. When it comes to champions like Lee who have a stacked kit, the only approach to nerfing them is to target their damage and cooldowns.
