According to League's lead gameplay designer, patch 11.11 wil bring to changes to many champions. While some overpowered champions like Lee Sin are getting nerfed, it's good to see that some of the weakest champions like Azir are getting buffed.
League of Legends lead gameplay designer Mark Yetter, better know as Riot Scruffy revealed the balance target list for the upcoming patch 11.11. Champions that are getting buffed include:
- Azir
- Graves
- Hecarim
- Ryze
- Ezreal
- Seraphine
- Illaoi
- Teemo
Azir and Ryze currently hold some of the lowest win rates in the game - below 45 per cent win across most of the ranks. Riot seems to be trying to bring them back to life since their excellent competitive capabilities can't be abused in the ongoing MSI tournament. Hecarim will probably get some slight buffs considering that he was one of, if not the strongest jungler in the game a couple of patches ago before Riot decided to nerf him.
The list of champions that will get nerfed is as follows:
- Morgana
- Rumble
- Lee Sin
- Elise
- Leona
- Urgot
- Shaco
- Qiyana
The Morgana and Rumble nerfs will target their power in the jungle position since they are by far the two strongest junglers in the game. There is hardly any champion that can go toe to toe with Morgana's clear speed and map presence. Rumble is also getting either picked or banned in high-elo games due to his flex pick potential - he can be a viable champion in for different positions.
Lee Sin is also one of the strongest laners at the moment. His diverse kit allows him to successfully trade in lane or set up easy ganks. The fact that he uses energy rather than mana allows him to constantly spam his abilities.
The patch will also include some item buffs:
- Wardstone
- Staff of Flowing Water
- Moonstone Renewer
- Trinity Force
- Divine Sunderer
- Black Cleaver
- Serpent's Fang
