Mark Yetter, a Riot Games employee, revealed the balance targets for patch 10.24. AD carries are a bit too weak at the moment so the balance team decided to tune up some of their items.
League of Legends' lead gameplay designer, Mark Yetter, took to Twitter to reveal some new balance targets for the upcoming 10.24patch. The specific changes aren't out yet, but we have a brief overview of what the new patch might be bringing to the rift.
The list of items that will receive nerfs this patch is as follows:
- Ludens Tempest
- Laundries Anguish
- Night Harvester
- Riftmaker
- Hextech Rocketbelt
- Lich Bane
- Demonic Embrace
- Nashor's Tooth
- Eclipse
- Blade of the Ruined King
AD carries can't be too happy with their state in the game after the preseason update. The somewhat iconic and common way of playing AD carries where play safe and scale for late-game doesn't seem to exist anymore. Now you don't get the same feeling of reward once you successfully "survive" the early game.
If we look at the win rate charts, there are almost no AD carries near the top with Miss Fortune and Jhin being the only expections. This is most likely the main reason they decided to improve the items that most AD carries used.
These items will get buffed:
- Tear of the Goddess
- AP jungle
- Kraken Slayer
- Essence Reaver
- Phantom Dancer
- Moonstone Renewer
- Prowler's Claw
- Serpent's Fang
When it comes to champions, Kayle, Samira and Hecarim will get nerfed while Tryndamere will be the only buffed champion in the next patch.
