Mark Yetter, a Riot Games employee, revealed the balance targets for patch 10.16. Besides the twenty-four champions that will get changed, the new patch will also include the new League of Legends champion - Yone.
League of Legends' lead gameplay designer, Mark Yetter, also known as Riot Scruffy revealed the list of champions they are going to change in the upcoming 10.16 patch. The specific changes aren't out yet, but we have a brief overview of what the new patch might be including.
It should be noted that even though there are a lot of champions targeted for the next patch, most of these changes won't be that big.
Champions that will receive buffs this patch include:
- Ziggs
- Neeko
- Veigar
- Yasuo
- Akali
- Fiora
- Jax
- Evelynn
- Hecarim
- Tristana
- Lucian
- Miss Fortune
- Morgana
- Rakan
Considering that almost nine bot lane champions are going to get either buffed or nerfed, there could be a big shift in the AD carry and support meta. We could also see a new Yone-Yasuo bot lane meta, considering that they have a great synergy together.
The list of champions that will receive nerfs this patch is as follows:
- Volibear
- Syndra
- Nocturne
- Karthus
- Kha'Zix
- Sett
- Karma
- Ashe
- Bard
- Nautilus
Despite all the recent Syndra nerfs, she's still one of the best control mages in the game alongside Orianna. Depending on its size, this change could finally push her out of the meta.
The Karma nerf could be targeting her tank build considering that she's dominating professional play with her oppressive unkillable playstyle. Kha'Zix has been holding the highest win rate for the jungle position in the previous patch so the nerf does not come as a big surprise.
