Mark Yetter, a Riot Games employee, revealed the balance targets for patch 10.13. There are some very interesting names, especially on the nef list which includes Yuumi and Aphelios among four other champions.
League of Legends lead gameplay designer, Mark Yetter, also know as Riot Scruffy has revealed which champions are getting changed in the upcoming patch 10.13.
Champions that will receive buffs this patch include:
- Nocturne
- Yorick
- Ryze
- Gnar
- Vi
- Lucian
- Rakan
- Kog'Maw (AP ratio)
- Nunu (AP ratio)
Lucian has by far the lowest win rate for the AD carry role in this patch with 45.82 per cent. He simply lost his identity as the most dominant early game ADC as he gets outdueled by a big number of champions early on.
A significant buff could push Ryze into pro play considering that he has always been one of the best control mages in the game with his mid and late game scaling, as well as his ability to impact the side lanes.
The list of champions that will receive nerfs this patch is as follows:
- Yuumi
- Syndra
- Ornn
- Aphelios
- Kalista
- Cassiopeia
Yuumi has the highest ban rate across all regions in patch 10.12 which means that this nerf doesn't come as a surprise. Her ability to empower a fed hyper carry can't be matched by any other support at the moment, even if you try to counter her healing by rushing Grevious Wounds items.
Aphelios has been one of the most popular AD carries in professional League of Legends which could be the cause for this nerf.
Even though Cassiopeia got nerfed for the top and bot lane position, the compensation mid lane buff has caused a rise in her win rate for that role so we could see smaller nerf targeting her Magic Resistance.
