Riot Games has shaken the League of Legends (LoL) community with the revelation of the gameplay trailer for the much-anticipated Season 2024.

About Profane Hydra
Cost consideration: While the price tag may seem steep, boasting 60 AD with 18 Lethality and 20 Ability Haste, some may question the investment when more economical alternatives like Umbral Glaive offer comparable stats.
Active – Heretical Slash
The active ability, Heretical Slash, delivers a 65% bonus damage to nearby enemies in a small AoE, reminiscent of Goredrinker’s active.
With a mere 10-second cooldown, this becomes borderline overpowered when striking foes below 30% health, surging to an impressive 97.5%. This potent effect scales magnificently, potentially dealing devastating blows in the late game.
Passive – Cleave
Adding to its arsenal, the Cleave passive enables champions to unleash 40% AD damage to surrounding units, elevating to 30% for ranged champions.
This mirrors the passive seen in other Hydra items (Ravenous and Titanic Hydra), aligning seamlessly with its thematic essence.
Release date
Anticipation is high as players await the grand debut of Profane Hydra and its counterparts.
Set to hit the live servers in early January 2024 with the deployment of patch 14.1, eager enthusiasts can already explore these changes in the preseason PBE 13.24.
