LoL's second most prestigious tournament of the year now has a proper schedule, although Riot cut it pretty close since MSI start date is just around the corner.
MSI 2021 is kicking off next week, on May 6, 2021, and RIot Games have finally posted the schedule for the event. There are a few interesting takeaways but if you want to check out the dates and times yourself, you can do so on either LoLEsports or the wiki of LoL esports .
European viewers will probably be relieved with the schedule MAD Lions got since the team will play most of the group stage matches in the evening hours, allowing most people to watch them after returning from work, school and other daily obligations. The sole exception is the match against Istanbul Wildcats on Monday, May 10, as the two teams will face off at 1:00 PM UTC / 3:00 PM CEST.
Meanwhile, the very beginning of the tournament will open with a banger. Cloud9 will be facing off against the reigning world champions, Damwon Gaming. Not many put faith in North America as a region these days but C9 have certainly been looking like a much more formidable team since Perkz arrived.
Then again, going up against DWG is a tall order for anyone and given Perkz's unfortunate history against the team, C9 look like they will have a proper mountain to climb in their first match.
You will be able to watch all matches via LoL Esports, Twitch and YouTube.
