League of Legends is moving up the quality bar when it comes to champion models and the latest one wasn't announced in glorious fashion but rather teased or leaked in a TFT video.
Riot Games released a Teamfight Tactics Dev Drop video that features some of the champions that didn't get visual updates in League of Legends yet. They appeared with better looks in TFT though, hinting strongly that the visuals will arrive to League of Legends as well. After all, TFT is launched from the same client and reuses LoL assets.
The video shows the next set, inspired by Piltover, meaning numerous champions hailing from the inventive city are going to be featured. You can see the updated Caitlyn at exactly one minute into the video, which is embedded below.
She retains the overall aesthetic but Cait will no longer have the ridiculously oversized tophat. It's been scaled down to fit her head better. On the topic of the head, her hair will look much better as it no longer looks like a solid piece of twirled candy.
Furthermore, Piltover's sheriff will sport some more clothing, resembling the design from Legends of Runeterra a bit more, with the added shirt and pants obviously inspired by Victorian-era apparel.
