The Vampire champion, Briar, has been a highly discussed topic within the League of Legends community over the past few months. Ever since the release of Naafiri, players have been eagerly awaiting any new information about Briar. They've analyzed the limited details available and speculated on what her character would be like.
However, it seems that the wait for Briar's details won't be much longer, as her abilities have reportedly been unveiled. Following the leak of her Splash Art, another significant leak regarding her Lore and Abilities has surfaced.
In addition to her Lore, details regarding her abilities have also emerged. According to the leaks, she will be a Fighter/Diver champion, similar to Vi, with abilities reminiscent of Warwick's.
Briar’s Abilities
Here's an overview of Briar's abilities, as per the leaks:
Passive:
- Briar won't possess passive Health Regeneration.
- Her attacks will apply a stacking Bleed effect to enemies.
- She will heal a portion of the damage dealt by her Bleed.
- The healing rate increases based on her Missing Health.
Q Ability:
- Briar lunges at her enemy, reducing their Armor and causing them to become Stunned.
W Ability:
- Activating Briar's W causes her to break free from her pillory and enter a Frenzied state.
- During Frenzy, she gains increased Movement Speed and Attack Speed when pursuing enemies.
- Pressing W again during Frenzy mode makes her next attack a chomp.
E Ability:
- Briar lets out a piercing scream that deals damage in her vicinity and applies a Slow.
- This ability requires a charging time before casting.
- While charging, she takes reduced damage and heals a portion of her Max Health.
- A fully charged E knocks back enemies and stuns them if they collide with a wall.
- This ability also concludes her Frenzy Mode.
R/Ultimate Ability:
- Briar marks the initial enemy she strikes.
- She then dashes towards the marked enemy, causing fear in all nearby enemies upon contact.
- While using her R, she gains additional Movement Speed, Magic Resistance, Armor, and Lifesteal.
