InXile Entertainment boss Brian Fargo has teased the studio's brand new project via his Twitter, stating that he is so excited about the visuals, design and writing for their next game.
We already have some idea what Inxile Entertainment's next project could be thanks to a job listing that surfaced online a couple of months ago. According to the job description, InXile Entertainment's new game is an AAA first-person RPG running on Unreal Engine 5.
Additionally, rumour has it that the game could be set in a steampunk universe but this is yet to be confirmed by the studio. Basically, no official info has been released just yet.
Today, InXile Entertainment Studio Head Brian Fargo has teased this brand new project via his Twitter. Fargo tweeted that he is so excited about the game that they are making but sadly, it seems we won't get to see it for a long time.
"I know that teasing is cruel but I am so excited about the visuals, design and writing for our next big game," Fargo said. "Unfortunately, you won't see what I see for quite a long time."
To be fair, we have hoped to see InXile's major game sooner, perhaps at the upcoming E3 2021, but it seems that the game is in early development and won't be shown for another year or two. Whatever the case is, we certainly are excited about this project and InXile's first take on a bigger AAA project.
As we already mentioned, the details about the game are pretty scarce but it's safe to say that it is probably coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC and of course Game Pass on day one.
