Capcom's Resident Evil Village is almost here and if you pre-ordered the game and waiting for launch day, you are probably wondering how long it takes to beat the game.
Resident Evil Village is one of the biggest game releases this year and judging from the gameplay, trailers and revealed details, horror fans are up for a proper treat. If you have followed the game closely over the last several months, you probably know that the release date is almost here now, so if you are preparing for the launch day, we have one tiny bit of info that you probably want to know before you dive into Village next week.
The game's story length has been revealed thanks to some players who already got their hands on early copies, which should not be out there in the wild but it looks like some retailers have broken the embargo set by Capcom and now we have a bunch of spoilers online but also some valuable details.
According to people who completed the game on Standard difficulty, you'll need to play around 13 to 15 hours, or even more to beat Resident Evil Village. Sadly, we do not know if the people who played the game rushed through content, without exploring or doing side activities but it looks like this could be the average completion time for most gamers.
If you love to take your time and check out every corner of the beautifully designed world, then you're probably looking at around 20+ hours of gameplay, which is not bad at all. The previous game in the series, Resident Evil 7 had a similar length, perhaps a tiny bit shorter.
Anyway, Resident Evil Village is officially hitting the shelves on May 7, 2021, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
