Having been exclusive to one of the hottest consoles around at the time, and we mean literally hottest, PC players missed out on Halo 3 but no more, as 343 Industries set the date.

So, Halo 3 arrives on PC on July 14, 2020, as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and it'll be interesting giving it a go after all this time.

" Halo 3 comes to PC as the next installment in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Now optimized for PC, witness the Master Chief’s return to finish the fight between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire Human race in this dramatic, pulse-pounding conclusion of the original Halo trilogy", 343 Industries wrote.

July definitely won't be lacking in Halo gameplay, and we're talking mixed-gen Halo-palooza, seeing as how Microsoft scheduled their game showcase demo for July 23, 2020. This should give you plenty of time to get your Master Chiefness on, just in case you're rusty.

The company confirmed that Halo Infinite will be part of the demo, and we're expecting a hefty demonstration. After all, 343 Industries promised that Halo will have its big moment on E3 2020, but since that has been cancelled, Microsoft had to go for alternative means of delivering the goods.

Naturally, we expect to see much more than just Halo. In fact, we're confident Microsoft will be out to impress, and with 15 top studios under the Xbox Game Studios umbrella, they've never been better positioned against Sony.

Phil Spence has been quite confident after seeing the PS5 showcase, insisting he fancies Microsoft's chances in this gen, as they've got a lot to offer in games, and more to offer in hardware.
