Guardians of the Galaxy PC system specs are officially out and while they are not that high, the game's storage space requirement is close to entering Call of Duty territory.

Square Enix have released the minimum and recommended system requirements for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy PC version. The specs are not scary at all with some pretty reasonable hardware except for the absolutely mammoth storage space requirement.

You will need at least 150 GB of free storage space to install Guardians of the Galaxy. For a single-player game, this certainly is high but let's not jump to any conclusions until we get to play the game and see its scope. Perhaps such a massive storage space requirement it's justified after all.

Guardians of the Galaxy PC system specs

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 / Intel i5-4460
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 / AMD RX 570
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 150 GB

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 / Intel i7-4790
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1660 Super / AMD RX 590
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 150 GB

Interestingly, Square Enix did not share additional PC specs for ray-tracing, which is included in the game. We assume you will need at least RTX 3070 to turn up real-time ray tracing. The game also supports Nvidia DLSS.

Guardians of the Galaxy is officially launching on October 26, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
