By the old-fashioned way, we mean it in terms of GTA Online's older methods that the players used in order to amass their ill-gotten riches instead of just farming the blond Colombian. Races, Adversary Mode, Heists and the Doomsday Heist will start paying out higher amounts of GTA$ next Tuesday, July 26, 20222, and there will be several other quality-of-life upgrades coming as well.
For example, there will apparently be an easier way to replenish health in firefights which will have something to do with easier access to snacks and armour but Rockstar will elaborate further on the day of the update. This should make The Doomsday Heist a smoother experience in case you don't have a CEO in your proximity.
One quality of life upgrade is actually a nerf - the most hated broomstick to ever exist is getting hit on multiple fronts. First, Oppressor Mk II's homing missiles will not be as good at tracking other people so actually dodging them might become easier. It certainly will in aerial combat. Secondly, the countermeasures will not be as effective, making it easier to take them down with your own homing missiles.
On top of that, people trying to make money through businesses will not have to be afraid of these griefers anymore due to the ability to launch Sell missions in invite-only sessions.
In other words, you will be able to choose AI as your only obstacle in getting things from point A to point B for a chunk of cash.
