Over at GTAForums, user gonnaenodaethat, who is known to post cryptic messages before big Rockstar reveals has started to send a fresh batch of teases, suggesting a potential GTA VI reveal.
It has been almost seven years since the release of Grand Theft Auto V, the latest instalment in one of the most popular, if not the most popular video game series of all time. This means that a brand new GTA game could be announced soon but as you may know, Rockstar Games are still silent and nothing official has been confirmed.
However, a lot of rumours and leaks started to surface in the last year or so, revealing the game's setting and story. Apparently, GTA VI will be set in Vice City and Colombia and is inspired by Netflix's TV show Narcos.
According to the latest hints over at GTAForums, soon, we could finally find out if these rumours are indeed true. Forum user gonnaenodaethat, who is known to post cryptic messages before big Rockstar reveals has started to send a fresh batch of teases, which may sound completely pointless at first, but some of them, luckily, have sense.
Domain grandtheftauto6.net, which is owned by the GTAForums will redirect you to user's profile and apparently, the moderators, who are famous for their banning policy are allowing him to write these cryptic messages, he even got his post pinned by moderators.
Three weeks before Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC was announced, gonnaenodaethat started a topic with cryptic messages inside Red Dead Redemption section and was also pinned by the mods. He did a similar post one month before Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced for consoles.
Also, on his GTAForums profile, it is written "GTA VI - It's aw aboot the Shaggin" and in Grand Theft Auto 6 thread on the forum, he posted "Columbian Marching Powder noises" just last night.
One GTAForums user messaged him, asking about GTA VI and if he is actually teasing the reveal to which gonnaenodaethat replied: "Enjoy yourself, you are closer than you think."
Of course, take these messages and cryptic posts with a huge grain of salt, just like any other rumour, leak or unconfirmed info.
That being said, it looks like the user has a lot of credibility among the GTA community and it would not surprise us if the reveal arrives soon.
