Sony's racing simulator Gran Turismo Sport has received another free update. The December update is wrapping up the year by adding European supercars as well as old-school American muscle cars, with some new events added for good measure.

Sony and Polyphony Digital have released a new free update for Gran Turismo Sport. This one is probably the most well-rounded update for the game since it features diverse vehicles such us Ferrari F50 ‘95 and Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance ‘12.

The total number of new cars is seven and players will get to test their four-wheel beasts on a new track which is a "South Route" layout for Tokyo Expressway street course.

Fans are probably most excited about Fugu Z, which is a modified Nissan 240Z built by Sung Kang who plays Han character in Fast and Furious series. The car also won Gran Turismo award a couple years ago. Along with Fugu Z, the new update also brings classics like 1995's Ferrari F50, 1978's Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and 1963's Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe.

For those who prefer exotics, 1.31 update includes beasts like 2016's McLaren P1 GTR, 2007's BMW M3 Coupé ’07 and 2012's Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance.

Additionally, some GT League changes have also been included. Polyphony Digital added seven new rounds to Beginner League's Nissan GT-R cup, Amateur League's Real Circuit Tours, Professional League's Mercedes AMG Grand Prix and Endurance League's Gr. 3 Endurance events.

If that's not enough, the developer included Catalunya Circuit Grand Prix layout to Circuit Experience along with dedicated FIA section in the Museum. And to wrap everything in a holiday mood, Polyphony gives you a special "Season's Greetings" backdrops so you can take photos of your cars in front of Christmas trees and big wrapped gifts.

All in all, a lot of free new stuff for Gran Turismo Sport fans to enjoy. The December update is live as of today - 5 December 2018 and you can find a more detailed look at the new stuff on PlayStation .
