Genshin Impact has captured the hearts of many players around the world, but it looks like those on the Xbox platform will be left deprived of that love.
There is absolutely no surprise in the fact that the Genshin Impact is coming to Sony's PlayStation 5. MiHoYo even confirmed this in an interview with Twinfinite, saying they plan to release a version for the upcoming next-gen PlayStation console.
We’re still waiting for official confirmation or any specifics regarding the PS5 version, but given that the game came out on September 28, and that PS5 is yet to launch next month, it’s no surprise that the publisher is a bit quiet on the subject.
Moreover, they are completely focused on the current platforms they cover, which are PS4, PC and mobile. The Switch version has also been confirmed and many gamers are very much looking forward to it, no doubt about it. Nintendo Switch has a large community and we trust that Genshin Impact will be among the most popular games on the platform.
So, when Nintendo also gets the Genshin Impact on their console, Microsoft will be the only one without the popular action-RPG on theirs, because unfortunately, the Xbox Series X is not in the plans of the great mobile games developer from Japan.
Genshin Impact has conquered the gaming world abnormally fast and already counts 20M downloads, and the official Twitter page has over 500k followers.
miHoYo have revealed that future upgrades are progressing smoothly and announced that the game will receive significant updates every six weeks, with the first in the repertoire being Version 1.1 announced for November 11th.
After that, on December 23, Version 1.2 arrives which will add the Dragonspine area and an event related to it. Version 1.3 is the last from the released schedule, and it's coming February 2021. For the full roadmap schedule check out the official Genshin Impact website .
