Genshin Impact 1.4: Venti banner release date and four-star predictions

Venti is one of the fan-favourite characters in the game and miHoYo will finally give us an option to pull for him again. When is Venti's banner getting released again and who will be the four-stars joining him? Read on to find out.

The release date of the Venti banner isn't officially confirmed yet but according to a recent tweet made by the official PlayStation Twitter account, we should expect the 1.4 update along with Venti to arrive on March 17.

One of the most frequently asked questions is, who will be the four-star characters joining Venti on the banner. Considering that he's one of the fan-favourite characters, we could expect a slightly weaker four-star lineup. Having a character on a banner will significantly increase his drop rate for its duration. The official update announcement stream already confirmed that Rosaria won't be a part of this banner.

As for the prediction, there are four rules by which four-star characters are appearing on the banner:

• First of all, the banner cannot include the starting characters Amber, Keaya or Lisa
• Characters cannot appear two patches in a row.
• There has to be at least one four-star character that uses the same talent ascension books as the main five-star
• Banner characters usually don't share the same elements (Hu Tao's banner was an exception)

The only two four-star characters that share the same talent ascension materials as Venti are Fischl and Rosaria, but since Rosaria is scheduled for Childe's banner, this should lock Fischl as one of the four-star characters on the banner.

Razor has skipped five banners so far but since he shares the same element as Fischl, he shouldn't be a part of this banner. It should be noted that miHoYo already made exceptions when it comes to this rule which means that we can expect both of them to appear on the banner.

And for the other two characters, we predict Noelle and Sucrose based on the skipped banners. This means that the characters that have the highest chance to make it on the banner are:

• Venti
• Razor or Fischl (or both)
• Noelle
• Sucrose
