Reliable Xbox insider Klobrille states that he fully expects to see Forza Horizon 5 reveal this summer. However, he also claims that the game won't be set in Japan
Rumours about the Forza Horizon 5 games surfaced a couple of months ago when reliable industry insider and GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb revealed in a podcast that the next Horizon title is set to release before the already announced Forza Motorsport.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation that this is indeed true but these rumours just won't go away, which gives us hope that an announcement may be coming soon. And soon is sometime this summer, says reliable Xbox insider Klobrille.
In his post on ResetEra, Klobrille agrees with Jeff Grubb, stating that he expects to see Forza Horizon 5 announcement this summer. Xbox already confirmed they will be at E3 2021, so that event seems to be the place for such a major announcement.
"I'm with Jeff Grubb on this one and do expect FH to show up this summer," he wrote.
However, the rumoured Japan location might not be true after all, despite many rumours suggesting that the game is indeed coming to Japan for the first time ever. "I also might have an idea about a location, which is not Japan, but that info didn't go too well with Forza Horizon 4 the last time so let's leave that to the team."
Jeff Grubb also agreed that the game is not set in Japan.
Well, that's some good and bad news but despite not being set in Japan as many fans would have wanted, we don't have any doubts that PlayGround Games will deliver a fantastic racing game once again, regardless of the setting.
