Forza Horizon 5 will have more off-road racing and 50% larger map than Forza Horizon 4

Playground Games have been showcasing plenty of Forza Horizon 5 content ever since the game was announced at Xbox Games Showcase earlier this year. The team already released a couple of developer vlogs, where they talked about the sound design, biomes, weather and skyboxes. 

The next episode of this dev vlog series named Let's Go! Forza Horizon 5 is set to be premiered today, where the team will show us the full map of Forza Horizon 5, which is 50 per cent larger than the map in Forza Horizon 4. 

The team also revealed that due to the size of the map, players can expect a lot more off-road racing but also road racing overall. The proportions of each are similar to Forza Horizon 4, Playground Games stated when asked about off-road racing.

"The map is 50% larger than in Forza Horizon 4, so there will be more off-roading and road racing overall, however, the proportions of each are comparable to previous games."

Forza Horizon 5 is officially hitting the shelves on November 5, 2021, for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
