In the new Fortnite update, Epic Games introduced a new Rift Zone named Moisty Palms which brings back Greasy Grove. There is also a solo limited-time mode Knock Town, Item Shop voting and several other bug fixes and improvements.
Another week, another free content update has arrived to Epic Games' free to play shooter Fortnite on all platforms. The update is officially live after two-hour downtime and it introduces a bunch of content including a new Rift Zone named Moisty Palms, LTM mode Knock Town and more.
In the new Rift Zone, you can crouch to disguise yourself as a prop and surprise the opponents. A Rift Zone has also brought back Greasy Grove, but this time, Durrr Burger is out, and Tacos are officially in.
From time to time, Spicy Tacos will rain down from the sky that will make players dance. While dancing, players are invulnerable to damage from others and will also regenerate health at 20 HP per second.
If the Storm catches you while dancing, Tacos won't regenerate your health or block the Storm damage. You can also consume Tacos for a 40 per cent movement speed boost for 20 seconds.
Another major feature comes in today's update. It's the Item Shop voting which will allow players to vote on what's featured in the Item Shop. The first vote is scheduled to start later this week.
As for the new limited-time mode, it's the one for solo players and was a top-three contender in the LTM Creator Contest. Knock Town gives players Fling-Knock Pistols as they jump around and dodge shots while trying to one-tap enemies. The player with the most eliminations at the end of the match takes the win.
Epic also vaulted Burst SMG while Tactical SMG has been unvaulted and it's also available in Playground.
The update also brings a lot of bug fixes, including a couple of BRUTE changes and some improvements and gameplay tweaks. You can take a look at the full patch notes on Epic's blog for all the details.
