Epic Games don't seem to be interested in changing anything about their patch notes, or lack thereof to be exact, but that didn't stop the Fortnite community from investigating and chipping in with their own crowdsourced version.
We can only assume that this arrangement is really working out for Epic, because they went from limited to no patch notes whatsoever, without so much as a hint that this may change in the future.
Oh well, we guess we'll have to rely on the crowdsourced version, which was kindly assembled by members of Fortnite Competitive's subreddit.
First and foremost, recoil and bloom on keyboard and mouse seem to have been brought in line with controllers. This includes the no-flinch reaction to being shot, just like on controllers.
Deadpool's Hand Cannons are not in the game yet but they are expected to show soon. Fortnite's version of Deadpool's boomsticks is classified as Mythic Dual Pistols and rocks medium bullets and magazine size of 18. The guns deal 21 damage, reload in 2.16 seconds and you can get them from Deadpool at the agency.
Also added to Fortnite is the Crash Pad, which is a blue rarity item that lets you deploy a bounce-able pad, hopefully saving you from death by falling. It's basically a single-bounce bounce-pad that comes in stacks of three.
Last but not least is the Kingsman, which is a Legendary rarity multi-functional umbrella. Fortnite players will find that Kingsman can slow their descent but not prevent fall damage, even breaking when falling from too high up above. The crowdsourced patch notes list the following Kingsman capabilities:
- Open the umbrella to shield attacks from a direction
- Melee weapon that does 50 damage
- Can be used to break structures and farm materials
- Similar to light sabers
As for the official part of Fortnite's 12.30 update, their Trello board only lists the following bug fixes and issues that were addressed:
- Unintentional Carry or Shakedown on controller.
- Spy Games: Stuck on "Select Tech" screen.
- Style selections for certain Locker items not saving.
- Harpoon Gun not catching loot consistently.
- Auto Pick Up not functioning properly.
- Deadpool Plunger not visible on 4:3 aspect ratio.
