For Honor celebrates its third birthday

For Honor's raging war has reached a truce to celebrate the game's third birthday, Ubisoft announced. Named, The Honor Games, the festival event will run until 27 February 2020.

It has been exactly three years since we got our hands on Ubisoft's melee action game For Honor. During that time, the game received several major expansions and it is now packed with content, which could not be said at the time of the problematic release.

Today, Ubisoft announced a fresh batch of content that will be available in the game for some time. To celebrate For Honor third birthday, Ubisoft have added a special festival event named The Honor Games. This in-game event brings back the limited-time game mode named Carousel of Fire, a spin on the 4v4 Elimiateion Carousel of Death mode.

Furthermore, the in-game map is also getting a makeover for the special occasion with fireworks, a live crowd, musicians and, for the first time ever, original fan art banners from the For Honor community, which, you have to say, is a pretty nice gesture by Ubisoft.

Last but not least, the Peace Festival will add event-specific Battle Outfits, Ornaments, Effects and brand-new Instrument Emotes for all characters. The special loot is available in the Honor games Bundle until 02 March 2020 for 30.000 Steel. You can check out the trailer above for a closer look at these items.

For Honor The Honor Games event will come to an end on Thursday, 27 February 2020.
