Asobo Studio, the team behind Microsoft Flight Simulator and A Plague Tale: Innocence are working on two new games. One of the titles will be published by Focus Home Interactive while the other game could be Xbox exclusive.
It looks like Microsoft and Asobo Studio could team up to bring us another great game. French developer, who recently launched critically acclaimed Microsoft Flight Simulator confirmed this in the latest interview with La Tribune .
Asobo CEO Sebastian Wloch said that the team is currently working on two new projects, in addition to the 10-year support for Microsoft Flight Simulator. One of these new games is another partnership with Microsoft, which suggests that this title could be new Xbox/PC exclusive.
At the moment, the details about the project are pretty scarce since Wloch only confirmed that the game is in the works. We do not know the genre of the game, whether this will be a brand new IP or something from Microsoft's catalogue of franchises. Also, it will probably take a while before we hear more about the game since the team just wrapped up the development of Flight Simulator.
The second game will be published by Focus Home Interactive, who published A Plague Tale: Innocence so we may be getting a sequel for this wonderful horror action-adventure.
All in all, it's safe to say that Asobo Studio have their hands full in the next couple of years. The team are certainly one of the most talented studios Microsoft have worked with and we cannot wait to see their new projects.
Thanks, MadInfinite .
