Rumour has it, Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake will be free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers in March. The rumour comes from insider and co-host of XboxEra podcast Shpeshal Ed.
Traditionally, PlayStation Plus subscribers get some great games for free each month. These giveaways are part of the subscription that is required for online multiplayer and often, Sony have some AAA titles for the subscribers.
And it seems that in the month of March, the publisher also have one blockbuster title. According to a rumour, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be one of the free games for PS Plus subscribers. The info comes from an insider and co-host of the XboxEra Podcast Shpeshal Ed who tweeted the following:
"If you haven’t bought Final Fantasy 7 Remake yet. Make sure you’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus for March."
As always with these things, take it with a dose of scepticism until Sony officially reveal the free games for PS Plus in March. We should not be waiting for too long since Sony should reveal the games today, February 24 at 5:30 PM CET.
Once you download the free game, you can play at as long as you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus. Once you are no longer subscribed, the games will remain in your library but will be locked until you renew your subscription.
