FIFA 22 is officially being revealed this weekend with a one and a half minute trailer, EA confirmed. Before that, though, the publisher decided to give us a first glimpse at the game via the latest cover reveal.
Just like last year, Paris Saint-German (PSG) wonderkid Kylian Mbappe is the cover star of the game's Standard Edition. EA will also reveal the other editions very soon but you can bet Mbappe will also appear on those, just like last year.
It seems that the French star is FIFA's new icon for many many years, similar to how EA went with Messi for FIFA 13, 14, 15 and 16.
EA will officially drop the trailer for FIFA 22 on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 11:30 AM EST / 17:30 PM CET. You can watch it on EA's YouTube and social media channels.
We don't expect to see any gameplay in this trailer since EA usually drop the cinematic in-engine trailer for the reveal, followed by the gameplay footage later on. We doubt it will be any different this time.
FIFA 22 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime later this year, probably in September or October 2021.
