SNK Corporation released Fatal Fury: First contact on Switch, giving the classic the vibe it originally hand with Neo Geo due to Nintendo console's compactness.
Nintendo Switch may be vastly overpowered compared to Neo Geo Pocket Color but the developers took great care in presenting Fatal Fury: First Contact as it was played all those years, or should we even say - decades ago.
Fans looking for a nostalgia infusion can now grab the game on Nintendo Switch at the price of $7.99 and enjoy all the pixelated fights once again. If you are not an old timer or just can't recall what it was like, the game will have a similar resolution as it will not be presented in widescreen.
To compensate for the lack of horizontal pixels from the old days, the Switch version of Fatal Fury will once again feature the Neo Geo overlay, not unlike the one seen in previous relaunches of SNK classics.
The game is heavily based on the arcade fighter Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 and the fighter roster is fairly similar, featuring Terry Bogard, Geese Howard, Mai Shiranui, Rick Strowd and Li Xiangfei.
In addition to these fan favourites, you will be able to play as Alfred, the protagonist of Dominated Mind and the hidden boss from Real Bout Fatal Fury 2.
The game also features some mechanics that will juggle the nostalgia feeling but instead of spoiling everything in word, we'll let the trailer above speak for itself.
