If there was ever an idea of a perfect marriage proposal, then this latest one has to qualify. Namely, a fan of Metro franchise and Metro Exodus player managed to get his marriage proposal into Sam's Story, and it worked perfectly.
It has to be said - not many developers would be as receptive to this sort of stuff, and even though it's not much of a challenge to implement from a technical standpoint, 4A Games deserve every bit of credit for being the great sports they were.
In their recent tweet, they wrote, "Before we released MetroExodus - Sam's Story, a fan reached out with a very special request for assistance, and just in time for Valentine's Day. Today, we're thrilled to say, she said yes! Congratulations Fanni and Aleksandr! We wish you all the best in life!"
You don't need to be an expert in Cyrillic to deduce that it reads "Fanni, be my wife", and as 4A Games confirmed, the answer was yes.
Now, as much as we'd have liked that Aleksandr also added a few details on how gorgeous Metro Exodus looks, because, you know - proposing without complimenting the devs is a bit rude, we'll let it slide this time. Of course we're joking, sheesh.
Metro Exodus' latest expansion Sam's Story is still fresh on the proverbial shelves, and it's a departure from Artyom's story. It follows former US Marine turned Spartan Ranger Sam in his attempts to get back home to the US, which as you'd expect isn't as easy as just hopping on a boat.
You can check out Metro Exodus: Sam's Story's launch trailer , if you're wondering what exactly awaits in 4A Games' expansion. If there's anything we can promise, is there's a whole lotta action to be had, but we've come to expect that from the franchise. Love stories like the one above - not so much, but here's to more of 'em.
