Modders have taken things in their own hands after a disappointing Fallout 76 release. The most popular mod at the moment is bringing improvements to messy UI by adding new tabs to inventory and showing the weight of each inventory category
Fallout 76 didn't really launch as good as Bethesda would've wanted. The reception for the game has been pretty disappointing so far with average scores and review bombings on Metacritic. This is due to poor optimisation, bugs and terrible UI which is so bad that players had to add some necessary improvements themselves.
Modder who calls himself registrator2000 has made Fallout 76's inventory a lot easier to navigate with his Better Inventory mod. The mod helps the players keep track of their radioactive junk by adding filters for Aid and Weapons tab. These tabs will now have additional sub tabs for food, water, ranged and melee weapons so players won't have to go over their whole Weapons or Aid inventory if they're looking for more specific items.
Better Inventory mod also adds inventory weight on a per-tab basis, which will show the players the exact weight of every category. This will make inventory management a lot easier since now players will be able to see where is their carry weight coming from. The option to view the combined weight for stacked items has also been added.

Modder registrator2000 has more plans for his mod and will look to add Armour and Outfits filter to Apparel tabs in the next update. The mod has been downloaded more than 15.000 times from NexusMods which puts it at the top of the list as the most popular Fallout 76 mod at the moment.
