Bethesda have finally released the long-awaited PC update for Fallout 76. The new patch brings many additions like push-to-talk option, field of view and depth of field sliders as well as improvements to C.A.M.P construction and placement.

One of the most annoying issues for Fallout 76 players on PC was the lack of some options which are pretty standard in almost every game released on the platform in 2018. Those options include a field of view slider, ultrawide support and push-to-talk among the others.

Fortunately, Bethesda finally delivered their promise and the update for those and many other problems is now live on Fallout 76 PC servers. The patch will bring Fallout 76 version to 1.0.3.10 and it weighs approximately 3GB on PC and 5GB on consoles. It's worth noting that console players will have to wait until Thursday 13 December 2018, when the update is scheduled to hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

If you play Fallout 76, you'll know just how annoying it can be hear someone's TV or yelling family members over the voice chat. Luckily, those days are over with a push-to-talk hotkey which has been implemented.

Those who own 21:9 aspect ratio monitors will finally be able to play Fallout 76 without the black bars on the sides and players will now have the option to turn off the ugly depth of field effect as well as increase the field of view to their liking.

Along with these much-requested additions, Bethesda also improved C.A.M.P construction and placement system. Small obstructions such as rocks or wood logs will now automatically disappear when players place objects on top of them which will certainly make building a much easier task.

Additionally, players will now get a notification when they log into the world and their current C.A.M.P location is occupied by another player. Those who decide to stay in that world will be able to place their C.A.M.P to another location for free and those who switch for a new world where their location is unoccupied will get their C.A.M.P in its original spot.

Other major additions include Special Re-speccing which will allow the players to choose whether they want to unlock a new perk card or reallocate one Special point after they hit level 51.

Bethesda included many other performance improvements and bug fixes and you can find the full patch notes in Fallout 76 December update Reddit .
