Battlestate Games has released Patch 0.4.0.0 for Escape from Tarkov: Arena which begins Battle Pass Season 1. The new Battle Pass features over 70 rewards which can be obtained for free, including the Radian Model 1 FA 5.56x45 assault rifle and Peltor TEP-300 active earplugs.
Players can progress through tiers of the pass and unlock exclusive gear by earning Battle Points in-game.The update also adds the Customs Tactical Map, a location that has been adapted from the Escape from Tarkov experience.
The map features over 30 points of interest to explore and offers the chance to unlock unique rewards and play a new map, along with a special Arena announcer voiceover, recorded by Battlestate Games Head Nikita Buyanov. EFT: Arena Free Weekend and Discounts
In celebration of Season 1's launch, Escape from Tarkov: Arena will be running a Free Weekend from October 24-27, giving all players access to the full game and the new Battle Pass content.
Battlestate is also providing a 15% discount on the standalone version of EFT: Arena and the PVE ZONE + Arena bundle for the same period.
The discount will be available on the official website as well as the Epic Games Store from October 24 2: 00 PM BST (9:00 AM EDT) until October 27 6:00 PM GMT (11:00 AM EDT).
Team Liquid Exhibition Matches and Twitch Drops
Also, as part of the celebration, Battlestate Games is hosting two Team Liquid show matches with Twitch Drops enabled. That means viewers who tune in live can earn exclusive in-game rewards.
- Sat, Oct 25 (12: 00–14:00 PST): Team Liquid vs North American streamers.
- Sun, Oct 26 (14:00–16:00 PST): Team Liquid vs Brazilian streamers.
The matches will serve to show off EFT: Arena’s competitive potential and reward fans who tune in live. Twitch Drops will include exclusive cosmetics and limited-time items for viewers linked to their Battlestate accounts.
Paris Games Week: Pre-Release Showcase for Tarkov 1.0
Battlestate Games won’t be taking a breather anytime soon. The developer will make an appearance at Paris Games Week as part of its world tour, where it will demo a pre-release build of Escape from Tarkov 1.0 before its full release on November 15, 2025.
The studio will be holding closed press sessions and developer meetings at the booth, and Nikita Buyanov will also be present for 1: 1 interviews and conversations on the future of Tarkov.
