Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order was announced on E3 2018 but it was so underwhelming that many people didn't even notice it. Others, such as myself, saw the announcement and forgot everything a few days later. I do remember it sucked though.

Since E3 2018 was swarmed with highly anticipated  announcements, trailers and gameplay videos, one would expect EA would use the opportunity to showcase the next instalment in one of their biggest franchises - Star Wars. Against all expectations, this announcement almost disappeared under the radar, due to a rather awkward announcement by Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment, who was seated with the audience instead of being onstage.

In case you missed it, you can see the half-announcement on the video above, which may explain why it was such a forgettable experience. It only came to my attention today when I read about the terrible presentation on reddit. A user by the name Radulno, about the presentation, bringing out weak points such as no stage presence, no trailer and not even a bit of art.

He also pointed out that the game is supposed to come in about a year and a half, which means EA should have had something to show about it by now, considering they showed Anthem gameplay back during E3 2017 and the game is only due for release in February 2019.

The kicker came in the form of a comment that rounded up everyone's feelings on the topic though. User flamingos_world_tour wrote that the best example of the terrible announcement is the fact that he was completely unaware of a new Star Wars game being announced, which then proceeded to be commented and upvoted further by numerous other users who were in the same boat.

This might point towards EA's unwillingness to announce the game in big fashion so soon after the whole Star Wars: Battlefront II fiasco but it makes one wonder if Battlefield 6 will also be treated to a dish of a not-much-of-an-announcement if Battlefield V bombs with critics and audience.
