Dishonored co-creator, Harvey Smith, gave an interview to Vandal revealing he's working on a new game with a team of devs who worked on Dishonored and Prey.
Harvey Smith, Dishonored co-creator, recently sat down for an interview with the Spanish website Vandal and shared a couple of morsels of information regarding a new game he is working on for Arkane.
In the interview, Smith touched on the current state of the game industry and the challenges they had to overcome in the ongoing global pandemic. "When you can do it, you don’t realize how special it is and then something like this confinement comes along and then you realize how good your life was and that now you no longer have it."
After taking a short walk down memory lane, the video game designer and writer turned towards the future and revealed that he is working on a new project with Arcane Studios.
Although he didn't give much information about what game he's working on, he did confirm that his team is comprised of devs who previously gave us Dishonored and Prey. If the project turns out to be a sequel to either game or an entirely fresh IP, we're sure the fans will eagerly await its release.
When asked about the recent merger between Bethesda and Microsoft , Smith had this to say:
"I think the process is still developing, I can't say much about it because I don't know much either. I would say there has been no change at Arkane at the moment, but if I were to imagine the ideal partner, thinking of all the publishers and the people I know who work for them, it would be very very difficult to find a better partner for Bethesda than Microsoft. They fit perfectly."
