Capcom have released the first and the final Devil May Cry 5 DLC called Bloody Palace. It's the iconic mode in Devil May Cry series and it's been making an appearance since the second major instalment in Capcom's demon slasher franchise.

Capcom's slasher Devil May Cry 5 has received its first and last DLC named Bloody Palace. The new content is available for free on all platforms and it introduces the well-known mode named Bloody Palace.

If you played previous Devil May Cry games, you'll be familiar with the gameplay of the mode that originally appeared in 2003's Devil May Cry 2. Of course, over the years, every Devil May Cry game added its own feel to the mode, but the core mechanics always stayed the same - battle your way through increasingly difficult levels, fight different enemies and bosses, and make it as far as you can before the death comes your way.

It's a combination of a survival mode and time attack, and if you're good enough, you can even complete the thing and become the ultimate demon slayer.

Devil May Cry 5's Bloody Palace mode has 101 floors at the moment, and you can take on them as Nero, Dante or V. If you think it can't be that hard with a bit of tactic, well, you couldn't be more wrong.

To make things more interesting and tougher, Capcom added a ticking timer, and additional time can be earned only by getting high style ranks or clearing levels without taking a single hit. So, playing slow or using defensive tactics won't win you this battle, you'll have to be deadly, flawless and as fast as possible.

Bloody Palace will be the last DLC for Devil May Cry 5 as confirmed earlier and despite the rumours about the new characters, co-op play and other modes, it looks like Capcom don't plan to add more content in the future.
