Bungie's popular looter shooter Destiny 2 is getting some fresh content soon. The devs are set to talk about the game's next big update, Witch Queen, in less than two months from now - August 24, 2021. Bungie confirmed the news via an image on their social media channels. The image includes a mysterious message which states "Survive the Truth" and there's also the marking of the Witch Queen.
It's safe to expect that this big showcase will reveal the first details about the upcoming expansion for Destiny 2. So far, we only know that the main antagonist of the expansion will be Savathûn, and that's basically it.
Some rumours also stated that Old Chicago could be one of the brand new locations that will be introduced with the Witch Queen expansion but there's certainly nothing official regarding that so take it with a grain of salt, just like any other rumour or speculation.
We're definitely excited to see what the future holds for Destiny 2 and its live service model, though, we have to say that the expansion probably won't be coming anytime soon since Bungie confirmed it's been delayed to 2022. Hopefully, it's the first couple of months of 2022, not something like mid-year or Holiday season.
