Demon's Souls Remake has officially been rated in Korea, which suggests that FromSoftware's iconic game could be a launch title for PlayStation 5 this holiday.
It looks like the highly-anticipated action RPG Demon's Souls Remake could be a launch title for Sony's next-generation console PlayStation 5, which is coming sometime for Holiday 2020. Demon's Souls Remake has been officially rated by the Korean rating board , which suggests that a release date could be just around the corner.
Usually, when Sony's games are rated in Korea, a release date follows shortly after that. For example, Bend Studio's Days Gone received Korean rating in January 2019 with a release date in April 2020. Kojima Production's Death Stranding also released shortly after the Korean rating appeared online and Predator Hunting Grounds is another example of this pattern.
Demon's Souls still does not have a release date but now, it looks highly likely that the game is actually a launch title for PlayStation 5. Whether this is the case or not, we'll find out pretty soon since Sony have started to release ads for PlayStation 5 , which means the announcement of pre-order and release dates could be imminent.
If you're unfamiliar with Demon's Souls Remake, it is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5, for now at least. It is a full-fledged remake of the original Demon's Souls, which started the Soulslike genre. We suggest you give it a go despite its challenging combat.
