Arkane Studios next-gen title Deathloop, which was recently delayed, is set to release on May 20, 2021, according to the listing on the official PlayStation Store.
Bethesda's timed exclusive for PlayStation 5, Deathloop, could launch in May 2021 according to the listing on PlayStation Store. As you may know, Arkane Studios action title was scheduled to release next month but sadly, the team decided to delay the game to 2021, due to COVID-19 effects.
"Our ambition for Deathloop is to deliver a signature Arkane game that takes you to never-before-seen places in a stylish world," the devs wrote in the announcement two months ago. "At the same time, the health and safety of everyone at Arkane Lyon remain our top priority."
Back then, the developers did not specifically say when exactly the game will arrive. They only mentioned 2021 as the target release window but it seems the game could be coming in the first half of the next year.
As you can see from the screenshot below, over at the official PlayStation Store, the release date is set for May 20, 2021. At the time of writing, the release date is still there but Sony may quickly remove it since the official date is still 2021.
Of course, it's possible that this is just a "human error" or a placeholder date so take the information with a dose of scepticism, just like any other rumour or leak.
Deathloop is officially announced for PlayStation 5 and PC but will be coming to Xbox Series X too, once the timed exclusivity deal expires.
