Apex Legends’ Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover has a release date. Beginning July 14 until August 4, 2026, Respawn Entertainment’s limited event will task players with matching new gameplay abilities, cosmetic rewards, and even a special skins on one of the game’s maps that revamps it with aesthetic vibes from Night City.
Deeply influenced by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the crossover adds unique Cyberware abilities to the game, eight new Legend skins based on the series, weapon cosmetics, and transforms E- District into a Night City-esque playground.
Respawn’s highlighted addition is Cyberware Mods. Cyberware Mods allows players to equip two powerful new abilities. Sandevistan enables players to dash in any direction while restoring their shields. Players can even dash twice in a row, resetting the ability which makes this Cyberware perfect for dive play or quick getaways.
Blackwall Breach allows players to phase into the net, only to come out slamming an EMP blast at enemies that damages shields and temporarily reveals enemies. This will lead to new opportunities to initiate team fights.Of course, with new Cyberware comes consequences. Eventually players will fill up their Cyberware meter and slip into Cyberpsychosis.
Cyberpsychosis turns players into flying melee warriors with dramatically increased movement speed and lethal close range damage. The tradeoff? Players cannot use weapons, shields, abilities, or throwables.
Luckily players can remove Cyberpsychosis by finding Immunoblocker Syringes around the map.In addition to new gameplay mechanics, the crossover revamps E- District with Night City influences. Glowing neon skylines, levitating holographic koi, hyper-futuristic advertisements, and glitched billboards fill the map to replicate the vibes from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
