CD Projekt Red could reveal a target release window for their upcoming sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 on this year's E3 expo. This is according to the latest info dump on NeoGAF, where Microsoft's full show has been revealed in detail.
One of the most anticipated, if not the most anticipated game in the last few years - CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 - is yet to get a release date, as the devs still use the "When it's ready" line whenever they're asked the question.
Of course, with such a huge game from such a beloved studio, the hype and excitement for Cyberpunk 2077 are through the roof, and rumours and leaks are something that is bound to happen from time to time.
In the latest batch of rumours, coming from a NeoGAF user named Braldryr, a huge info dump about Microsoft's E3 2019 show has been revealed, including a tiny bit of detail about Cyberpunk 2077.
Braldryr claims that CD Projekt Red will reveal a brand new gameplay trailer, update us on the progress they've made in the last year and finally, reveal a targeted release date.
This means that CD Projekt Red could finish their trailer or talk with "coming 2020", "coming Spring 2020" or even "coming 2019" if you want to be one of those optimistic people.
Whatever the case is, we'll have to wait a bit more for Cyberpunk 2077, even after the E3 2019 expo. CD Projekt Red probably have a specific date they are aiming for, but given the scale of the game, things could go wrong all the time so it may be smart to keep the date secret until they are 100 per cent sure they can wrap it up before the target date.
CD Projekt Red's previous game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was delayed a couple of times. The devs stated that the sheer complexity of The Witcher and the scale of the world took "a decisive impact on production" which resulted in a delay. Let's hope this won't be the case with Cyberpunk 2077.
