CD Projekt Red seem to be making a tradition out of secret Cyberpunk 2077 messages and this time around, their Collectors Edition trailer showed an SSH server that's actually real and hosts a .txt with a lengthy message by the developer.
"Yes, yes, we know — for now, the demo is only available to the lucky ones who managed to get tickets to E3 and the rest of you will have to wait until Gamescom or the public dev Q&A unveiling stream at PAX in August. Yeah, we can already feel the bashing you're gonna give us online :(", they wrote.
Showing Cyberpunk 2077 demo now would apparently render their Gamescom presentation "pointless and would significantly limit [their] chance to build hype", which they hope can translate into sales as well.
What they ended up doing is ensuring that the Standard Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 packs plenty of goodies that players should find attractive.
"We have really maxed out the physical capacity of the box with goodies. We think this raises the bar for 'standard' and we hope you'll think so, too", they wrote.
CDPR wrote that they appreciate every show of support coming their way and reminded that every pre-order is a vote of trust, which they will appreciate.
However, and as is traditional for CDPR, they also said, "If you are still hesitating though, we would rather you wait for more materials or reviews. Our goal is for you to truly enjoy CP2077 and not regret a pre-order."

So, there you have it - we'll have to wait until Gamescom 2019 to see more of Cyberpunk 2077 but we've no doubt it's breathtaking. Just like Keanu. By the way - how epic was that?
