Which civilisation is next in line to receive the Civ treatment after the recent and controversial addition of Canada's ? If you guessed Georgia, I have one more thing to ask - do you lie to yourself often? It's ok, I do it too.
Long story, short: the Civilization VI expansion is due next month, and Georgia is the latest in a string of newly revealed civs.

Georgia will be a new civilization included in the Rise and Fall DLC. As with all other civs, Georgia will have a unique unit, structure, and abilities. Georgia's leader is a pious warrior queen Tamar the Great, who reigned as the Queen of Georgia from 1184 to 1213, and lead her kingdom through the Georgian Golden Age.
Tamar's in-game ability is Glory of the World, Kingdom, and Faith. This allows her to declare a Protectorate War after the Theology Civic is attained. The queen's soldiers gain bonus Faith after a Protectorate War is declared, and her entire civilization gains bonuses as they spread their religion.
Free extra envoys are gained when existing envoys are sent to city-states where Tamar's religion is practised by a majority of the civilization.

Tamar's unique unit is the Khevsureti. They get a Combat Strength bonus and also incur no movement penalty on hills. The unique building is the Tsikhe - a replacement for Renaissance Walls. The Tsikhe grants extra Faith and is cheaper to produce than regular walls.
Georgia's civ ability is Strength in Unity. When changing eras into a Golden age, you receive an additional bonus, on top of your Golden age bonus. Double bonuses, yaay.
Rise and Fall is set to launch on 08 February.
