PlayStation has officially released the PC requirements for their upcoming Until Dawn remake for PC, arriving on Epic Games and Steam storefronts on October 4, 2024.
Fortunately, Until Dawn's remake is coming to PC with exclusive features such as ultrawide support, unlocked frame rate and upscalers like NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS.
To our surprise, the game will also feature a ray tracing option, allowing players to make the game look more immersive. Previously, PlayStation has always excluded ray tracing options from the PC port of their games to keep their consoles in demand.
Here are the Until Dawn PC system specs:
Preset Low (720p 30 FPS)
- CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (or similar processor with AVX support)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 / Radeon RX 470 (or equivalent card with minimum 6GB VRAM)
- RAM: 8GB
Preset Medium (1080p 60 FPS)
- CPU: Intel Core i5 8600 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 6600XT
- RAM: 16GB
Preset High (1440p 60 FPS / 4K 30 FPS)
- CPU: Intel Core i5 8600 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 / AMD Radeon RX 6800XT
- RAM: 16GB
Preset Very High (4K 60 FPS)
- CPU: Intel Core i7 11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6900XT
- RAM: 16GB
The game will require 70 GB of your SSD space and you'll need at least Windows 10 64-bit to run it.
The game is looking well optimised considering the game size remaining under 100 GB, which is a rare sight for modern AAA games. However, to run the game on higher presets would require players to break their bank by opting for a GPU with ray-tracing capabilities.
