The leaker who is quite fronted in the leaker community Dealabs, a user known under nickname bilbil-kun, recently claimed to view the PS5 Pro console, with eyes and sketched it out loud. Supposedly, the Pro version won't be too unlike a regular PS5 but will harbor much of its design with some minor changes.
Rumours have been doing the rounds that Sony is set to make an announcement regarding the PlayStation 5 Pro at the tail end of next month and this new piece only corroborates new information.
Running with this is the leaked sketch that hints the Pro version will look the same as the existing design language PlayStation 5 Slim, with a few extra "ribs" along its sides. According to the leak, the front of the console reportedly has two USB-C ports and a power button, much like those of the Slim model.
Besides this, Dealabs also indicated that the PS 5 Pro will come in White, just like the current PS 5. However, this design is also raising a question, if the Pro model will come with a Blu-ray disc drive.
The source could not determine, however, if the PS5 Pro would come with an integrated disc reader, or it the Pro would go in line with its other PS5 competitors in the creation of an attachable drive. Gamers are bound to kick up a fuss should this be the case since physical media still has a place and relevance to most players.
The better news is that it's confirmed the PlayStation 5 Pro will ship with a standard DualSense controller - one and the same with what's coming with the regular PS5, as most had expected.
Leaks like these serve as a pretty good predictor of what we might get with the PlayStation 5 Pro while waiting to get official announcements. Whether those details hold true is something that time will have to tell, but those design elements on a more powerful PS5 could be quite promising.
